We're pleased to announce our partnership with Geospatial World Forum (GWF) for the "Hydrospatial Infrastructure and Blue Economy Summit." GWF2025 is held from April 22-25, while this specific summit takes place on April 24-25. Join us in Madrid, Spain!
At GWF 2025, explore how cutting-edge technologies like AI, high-performance computing, and robotics are revolutionizing the ocean economy. From real-time data via sensors and satellites to fostering innovation and governance in marine energy, fisheries, transport, and more.
More on the session: The ocean economy is experiencing digitalization like every other sector, but the digital transformation of the ocean is complex due to the lack of communications infrastructure and challenges of the underwater environment. Innovative technologies are enabling collection of data about oceans and ocean assets like never before. The ocean data collection is supplemented with enhanced data analysis, interoperability, and access to support decision-making across multiple ocean sectors. Ocean-based industries are also expected to outpace performance of the world economy as a whole, both in terms of economic contribution and employment, and technology companies are taking cognizance of the fact and developing applications for the ocean economy as part of their growth strategies and commitments to climate action.
SeaAhead's very own Edward Cesare will be speaking in Session 7: Future of Marine Transport and Navigation in a Connected Ocean on April 25th.
